White Sauce or Bechamel Sauce
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 1 ¼ cup Milk, heated
- To taste Salt & Pepper
- ½ cup Cheddar Cheese, grated
- Set the sauce pan over the medium heat and melt the butter.
- Stir in the flour and keep stirring for 2 minutes, don’t let it brown.
- Add in the hot milk and continue stirring until the sauce thickens.
- Add salt & pepper to taste; lower the heat.
- Stir in the cheese and cook for about 2 minutes, occasionally stirring.
- Remove from the heat.
