White Beans Curry



  • 1 cup Onion, diced
  • 1 cup Tomato, diced
  • ½ cup Capsicum, diced
  • 1 cup Carrot, diced
  • 3 cups White Beans, boiled
  • 3 tbsp Cooking Oil
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin & Coriander Powder
  • 1 tbsp Garlic, diced
  • ½ tbsp Ginger, diced
  • 2 tbsp Corn flour
  • To taste Salt & Pepper
  • Pinch of Chili Powder (Optional)
  • To Garnish Fresh Coriander Leaves


  • Set deep pan over medium heat and add cooking oil.
  • Add onion, ginger & garlic; fry until onions are translucent.
  • Add carrot & capsicum; add turmeric powder and stir well.
  • Add the tomatoes and stir for few minutes.
  • Add the boiled beans, cumin & coriander powder, salt, pepper & chili powder (optional) and mix well.
  • In a small bowl, mix the corn flour and a cup of water and pour the mixture into the beans; add tomato ketchup and mix well.
  • Let it simmer for 5-8 minutes; keep stirring once in a while.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot.
